Cakra Wikara Indonesia adalah perkumpulan peneliti yang menekuni kajian sosial politik dengan perspektif gender untuk memproduksi pengetahuan bersama demi mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat dan peningkatan kualitas kebijakan publik.

Kerja-kerja riset dan edukasi yang dilakukan di antaranya adalah: penelitian, pengumpulan dan publikasi data, serta program pelatihan dan pendidikan. Kami menyadari kerja-kerja riset dan edukasi sangat strategis untuk mendorong terwujudnya tata kelola politik yang partisipatif, adil, dan setara.

About the Organization

Cakra Wikara Indonesia (CWI) is an association of researchers focusing on social political studies that aim to collectively produce knowledge with gender perspective in order to enhance the quality of public policy and empower people’s participation.

CWI’s scope of work includes research, data mining and publication, as well as education and training programs that promote participatory, fair, and equal political governance. CWI is fully aware of the strategic importance of research and education as parts of concerted effort towards a participatory, fair and equal political governance.

 

Visi dan Misi

Menjadi perkumpulan peneliti yang mampu menghasilkan riset sosial politik yang responsif dan visioner untuk membantu mewujudkan tata kelola politik yang partisipatif, adil, dan setara.

Visi ini hanya dimungkinkan dengan:

  1. Menghasilkan riset ilmiah berperspektif gender untuk mendorong pembaharuan tata kelola politik.
  2. Merancang, mempromosikan dan mengembangkan model kebijakan tata kelola politik yang partisipatif, adil, dan setara.
  3. Membangun kemitraan strategis untuk memperkuat dan melembagakan tata kelola politik yang partisipatif, adil, dan setara.

Vision and Mission

To become an association of researchers that produces political and social researches with visions and responsiveness in order to achieve a participatory, fair and equal political governance. CWI strives to achieve its mission through the following endeavors:

  1. Producing researches that utilize gender perspectives to improve the quality of political governance.
  2. Designing, promoting, and developing policy formulation or alternatives that enhance a participatory, fair and equal political governance.
  3. Developing and cultivating strategic partnership to institutionalize the strengthening of participatory, fair and equal political governance.
